SOURCE: Viper auto alarm

Check the wiring again, The Ford company uses a light control module in their vehicles. It is fact that the main CPU (Central Processing Unit) stays on line for about 45-60 minutes after the vehicle is shut off that this could show enough of a voltage drop to trigger the alarm when it goes off. If at all possible you may want to monitor the voltage after shutting the truck off and see if the alarm triggers at the same time the voltage drop decreases across the battery after the CPU goes to sleep (45-60 minutes). I hope this helps or at least explains why you may see a foltage draw while testing. Remember to be patient while waiting for the computer to shut down. it will.

Good Luck,

7254v remote bips when arming or disarming with a new battery

Hi

If you want to reset your Viper alarm, you can do so with your car's fob key.
  1. Point the fob key toward your vehicle as the alarm sounds.
  2. Listen and wait for your alarm to sound for six seconds. Press the lock button on your key. Your vehicle's Viper alarm will reset but the alarm will still be armed.

My viper 5002 alarm i don't know witch wire's to use off the viper alarm's for the power lock's

The door lock wires for the Viper alarm are green (-)lock and blue (-) unlock. The Viper system only provides a negative lock/unlock pulse for the door locks. So, if you are working on a vehicle that has positive door locks you will have to install relays to change the polarity.

The alarm doesn't chirp and no flash of my headlights anymore. Also the blue light stays on the little receiver/antenna on the windshield wheather it is locked or not. What is the problem?

sounds like the alarm went into valet mode. that's usually what a solid blue light means on most viper alarms. check your owners manual on how to take the alarm out of valet mode. with the 5701 alarm its usually done with the remote. hope this helps

With the battery charger connected or a jumper battery simply click the alarm key fob on and then off. This will reset the alarm and the car should start...had mine towed to find this out
