Ricoh CL7000 - Black lines every 4,5 or 9 pages

Hi,
I get a black line printed on every 5th or 9th page (I figure it is actually every 4.5 pages but misses the actual printed page) top to bottom on an A4 in portrait... It is obviously a roller somewhere along the line and all of this after I did some serious printing the other day... at which time it developed a knocking in what appears to be the top left of the machine somewhere...
Any ideas ?

Sounds like the registration clutch is faulty. The knocking maybe the fuser unit jumping gears check that unit also check that the green paper holders are all in the correct place.

sorry not the registration clutch but the black line normally cused by the black PCU the charge roller defective.

Hi, my experience with this machine is that the gear that drives the black pcu breaks or cracks. Usually caused by the pcu being too hard to turn. I always turn the developer gear in the pcu before installing it just to loosen the toner.

I have a Ricoh Aficio CL3500N When I print a vertical page there are thin black lines going down the left side of the page. What causes it?? And what can I do??

Hi, thin black lines are most likely (but not definitely) caused by something in the black PCU (photoconductor unit), either the drum or the charger. Replacing the black PCU will likely get rid of your lines. The Ricoh code for a black PCU if you don't already have one is 402448.

Ricoh CL7000 text is blurry/fuzzy

probably only when printing in colour? Black only, is ok right?
It needs to have it's line adjustment procedure done. This is a series of complicated trial and error adjustments performed in service mode that the individual colours are adjusted based on printouts generated by the printer. Can only be adjusted by a service tech with experience with this adjustment.

Repeated cyan line across printouts.

Need to replace the cyan PCU. It is a user replaceable item. Here is a link to user manual:
