Singer 211 thread bunches up and pulls material in. Is there a website that sells manuals for the singer 211? Im not familiar with this machine. It stiched and the thread kept breaking. I loosened the tension and put a new needle and now it bunches up. This top load bobbin has me puzzled. Model 211a566aa

How to fix singer 1022 sewing machine

Wife had a lot of thread UNDER the material. I pulled out the bobbin holder and tightened the inward screw. The machine works wonderful now. So IT CAN BE THE BOBBIN HOLDER. Cleaned machine with compressed air and oiled. Singer 1022. She says the stiches are perfect now.

Thread bunching under work

Clean away all the thread.

If you look through the Singers at Relics.com you may find your machine and order a manual so you can be sure the bobbin has been threaded and is inserted correctly into the machine.

It is possible the timing has to be adjusted - you can find this at sewusa.com

Singer simple- thread is bunching at the bottom of my material. I have tried different tension settings.

"Birdnesting" occurs when there is no tension on the needle thread to pull the bobbin thread. This is easily corrected by rethreading the machine, following the threading path carefully and making sure the thread is fully engaged in the tension mechanism.

Singer sewing machine stiches not forming & thread bunching

Sounds like what is called bird nests or thread nests. The top thread is not seated completely in the tension disk.

Remove the top thread completely from the machine.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct.

Now, retest your machine.

When I sew the back of the material thread is big loops. Is this because my bobbin is not set right?

well errr???? im a man talking to you !!!! how would i know whats wrong here???? i cant stich a button on???? but ???? me thinks its not so much the bobbin thats not set right its the needle thred tensions that are wrong there far to slack, whats happening is the needle is stiching but the bobbin is not pulling up all the exess slack, you have missed threded the sewing machine? missing out the thred tenshion bit,,that or it's just not tight,,, crank it up tighter and see if this helps pull it up more under the stiching ? if im wrong slap me !

It sounds to me like the upper thread is not threading properly. Make sure the presser foot is in the up position when threading. After you thread it, try putting the presser foot in the down position and pulling on the thread going through the needle. YOu should have some resistance. If not, you definitely have a threading problem. Check to make sure there isn't any thread broken off in the thread path or wound up in the tension disc.

I have a singer futura ce-250/ce-350 machine.

You need to do a tension test
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Tension assembly test. To do this test. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.)
If it doesn’t work this way then you probably have a piece of thread or lint stuck inside the tension discs. To remove it, turn the tension to 0 zero and raise the presser foot.Using a small screwdriver, open the space between the discs and spray with canned or compressed air. The stuff should come out. Do the tension test again to make sure you got everything and then try sewing again.
