I need manual instructions for digital camcorder v.p d101

I'm not certain whether everything that was on the CD is available from the Samsung web site, but there are drivers and software available from then to download: click here>
I hope this helps. If all of the software that you need is not available, then you will need to contact Samsung UK (see the "Phone" link on the web site) and ask for a replacement CD for your model camcorder.

You will need to enter the code number shown a bit smudged in the picture, then wait for about 30 sec countdown and click 'try again' if nothing happens after a few moments. It will take a minute or so to download the manual as a PDF file which you can then save on your PC.

Hi,
The only way to download your video to your computer is by using a firewire cable. You will also need a firewire port on your computer. If you don't have such a port you can buy a PCI firewire port.
After you have connected your camera to your pc using the firewire cable you can transfer your video using a video editing software. You can use Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows.

Hi there. I can help you with that.  You need an IEEE 1394 cable. It's also known as Firewire (apple), or I-Link (Sony). It doesn't matter. Just go down to your local electronics store or Best Buy and ask for Firewire cable (they will know what you're talking about). That will fix you. John, Samsung has been having very serious problems with the CCD imagers in their camcorders for some time now. I would give them a call and let them know how disappointed you are in the camera. Almost all manufacturers having this problem are repairing the cameras at no charge to the customer. Good luck to you! Joe Weibel customelectronics.org
