Motorola RAzr V3 - screen went black but key pads lights up

Hi. My new Motorola Razr V3 worked for only a few days. I heard an alarm came on, then the screen turned white and then black. I charged up the battery to enusre the power is good, the key pads lights up fine, but the screen still black.

What is going on with my phone?

    It's damned annoying!

    Replacing the flexcable?
    Srry... which part of the cellphone is this and how does it help me to get the screen working again???

    Srry in case this is a stupid question (but English is not my mother tongue...))

Sounds like you have had a display failure. You may look for a local repair shop. We don't repair the Razr V3 any longer.

Black Screen
Hi, before sending it in or taking it to a Motorola repair station, try this. Open phone turn it over so camera is facing you with finger behind and thumb of your right hand sweeze the area between camera lens and the vol up down button to reseat the ribbon connector that is located in that area between the cases. This worked for me and it is worth trying.

Motorola Razr - Keypad Doesn't Work
My phone developed the same trouble............ Removed battery and SIM and blew dry air into anyhole I could find, put it back together and has worked ever since.
