We purchased this phone and on the box it claims that it can be mounted on the wall. It CAN NOT be mounted on the wall as the receiver falls off it's hook. There were not installation instructions about this at all and I have tried to get customer service for 2 days and they promise they will call back in 24 hours. It didn't happen! I am upset and want to get this product installed, can you help us please?

Often there is a handset catch near the top of the cradle that must be reversed to allow the handset to hang in the cradle when installed as a wallphone. Typically the phone is initially setup as a desk phone, if this catch piece was reversed it would interfere with lifting the handset. Some models have a screw holding this piece in place, some just slide into cradle.

Can the base be mounted on the wall? I saw a "yes" answer on a forum, but it did not give info on how to install it to the wall. Set did not include a mount for the wall.

if the base does not have a "modern mount" set of holes in it's back then getting it go on wall is gonna be a chore , one simple trick idea that I did with one in my shop . was to obtain a simple small shelf bracket at the hardware store and mount that to wall and set phone base on that ! they cost about 75 cents a piece and if you mount them upside down (tabs up) the phone base blocks them from view .you cant even see them , a few dots of silicone caulk on them before you set phone base down there and when it dries , im sure your never gonna have a problem with it falling off , now what to do with the wires running down the wall ?????

Sink falling off wall

Well first step would be to remove sink from wall.then determine if there is backing in wall (something study behind wall to anchor bracket to) Most of the time when its falling off the wall its due to improper backing or non at all, bracket mount screw rusting away.I seen sheetrock screws holding them on. (that would last long) I suggest 3/8x 2" lag screws.

How to mount a conia CL3201HDR on the wall, no screws in box and not sure what thread size to purchase.

You need to purchase the wall mount separately. They range from a simple "on the wall" mount to swivels and extending mounts, and can be very expensive for the fancy features.

First, make sure your set is wall mountable. In the center of the rear of the set there will be a square arrangement of bolt holes. I do not know of any newer sets without them, but it does not cost anything to take a look and make sure.

Next, you need to decide on a mount. Personally, I did not want to spend allot, so I found a very inexpensive, yet good quality, "straight" mount at Sears for around $25.00. It does not extend or swivel, but all I wanted was to get it on the wall. Different screws and bolts were supplied with it and I was able to match up what worked for the back of my set.

Now, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!!!

You ABSOLUTELY MUST find where your wall studs are! This is CRITICAL! DO NOT use any kind of expanding bolt to mount your set or it will eventually come loose and FALL!

I had an inexpensive "stud finder" (around $10-15) to show me where the wall studs are... Sears sells them too....You want to bolt your TV wall mount to the studs using 1/4" stud or lag bolts (they look like oversized wood screws) for maximum strength, if your mount will accept bolts that thick. Also use flat washers on the bolts. If your TV mount has its mounting bolt holes too wide apart for bolting to a standard 2" wide stud, mount a 6X6" piece of 1/2 plywood through your wall to the stud, using at least 4 #10 deck screws...it may be overkill, but it will be secure... my personal saying is, "If I can't hang from it, neither can my TV!" This is critical if you want to use a fancy swiveling mount that extends out since it will add stress to where you bolt it to the wall.

My mount was in two pieces.... a section that bolted to my wall, after I mounted a piece of plywood as I described above. This piece has a large pin that sticks up, and the part that mounts to my set (with the screws provided by the manufacturer of the mount) has a receiving hole that slides over the pin. When I need to take my set down, I simply lift it straight up.

I hope my long-winded solution did not bore you, and I wish you the best in hanging your set. Please take a minute and rate my solution.

We just purchased new Uniden phones, Model no. DECT1480-4. I was told at the store that I could wall mount it. There was no plate for wall mounting. Can I get one and if so how much is it and where can...

Did you find your solution? You need Uniden wall mount adapter GBCT2B5319Z, but their site lists it as "back-ordered." (I am looking to buy this phone set but, like you, want it wall-mounted, and have not found this mounting adapter in stock on the Web yet.)

Want to wall mount tv but don't don't were to bolt.

I have my 32" Protron mounted on my wall. There are six holes on the back of the set that you attach the mount. I cant find any links to pictures but it should be pretty straight forward. You should be able to use any generic LCD wall mount, just make sure it can hold an 32" since I made the mistake thinking all wall mounts were the same. I purchased mine at Best Buy but you should be able to find a mount anywhere. You will need to fasten the mount onto the studs in your wall. Drywall by itself will not be sufficient and cannot support the weight of the TV.

The wall mount should come with everything you need, e.g., screws, brackets, etc., with the exception of the tools. FYI... it's not going to be an easy job so be patient and take your time. It's probably going to take the good portion of a day. Also, as for the holes on the back, just be careful when performing the final mount to make sure it doesn't fall. It would be wise to have someone help you.
