How can I stamp date on pictures using Nikon CoolPix S8100 camera

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

If you want a date stamp on photos go to Menu and turn on Date stamp after setting proper date under time and date setting under Menu. Rich

2) clean very well the contacts batteries from oxide, dust, dirty. or corrosion
3) batteries loaded in WRON direction
4) batteries is NOT the right type
5) poor contact between battery and cover , clean and adjust it .

Return the camera right away, it is clear this is a manufacture defect, nothing more can be done.

Select "Date Imprint" from the Setup menu and turn it off.

The software you use for printing the picture should give you the option of printing some of that data on the picture or in the margins (or on the back, if your printer can do two-sided printing). Not easily. Once the date stamp is on the picture, those pixels are the same as any other pixel. You can edit the photos using photo editing software, the same way you might replace one person's face with another's.
