Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+ Logo

I have a Liftmaster HBW077. The opener operates from the wall mounted button. There are two remotes and neither will open the door. The green light on the WALL button is blinking. There is nothing that looks like a Lock Button (suggested to check in the owners manual) on the wall or on the opener. I checked the alignment of the safety beams and they seem fine. I checked the open and close force and they seem to be properly set. If reprograming the remotes does not work, what could the problem be?

Check to see if the wall control has 3 buttons. If it does one of them is the lock button and you need to press and hold this for 3 seconds. The lock button has an icon of a padlock. If you do not have a 3 button wall control programming the remotes should cure it.

Just a push of a button!

Tell him to press the red reset button (next to the light bulb.) I had the same problem and this corrected it.

The wall button has a green light that is blinking and the car remote will not operate the garage door but the wall button works

this just happened to us today as well. the wall pad has three buttons: one large back-lit button pad to open it and a lock button and a light button. the open button was blinking quickly and would open the door, but the car remotes did not work. I found that by pushing both the "lock" and "light" button at the same time for about 3 or 4 seconds, the back-lit "open" pad stopped blinking and went to steady green. I went back to the cars and checked the remotes there. both opened the door.

hope this helps someone out there

Garage door opener.Working off and on. Green light blinking

Check the alignment of the safety light beams near the floor on each side of the door. They are not properly aimed and the safety reverse feature will not allow the door to close properly.

REMOTE CONTROLS WILL NOT WORK-WALL BUTTON FLASHING RAPIDLY

Does your wall switch have a lock feature? By pressing the lock button, the remote control is disabled. A flashing light indicates this feature has been activated.

To deactivate, press and hold the lock button for 2 seconds. The flashing should stop and your remote should work again.

Green light is flashing on my garage door opener on the inside of my house/craftsman opener

Hi. The green light was flashing and ny transmitter in the car would no longer operate the door. On the back of the liftmaster, just below wker the small wires go in, there is a small, flat, green button. I pressed that with a stick and it solved the problem.
