If your Sentry Supreme 5330 safe is not opening, there could be a few possible reasons why:
Combination Error: If you are using a combination to open the safe, make sure that you are entering the correct combination. If you have forgotten the combination, you will need to contact Sentry Safe customer service to get assistance on how to recover or reset your combination.
Dead Batteries: If you have an electronic lock on your safe, the batteries may be dead. Replace the batteries and try again.
Jammed Bolts: The locking bolts may be jammed due to incorrect operation or a mechanical problem. Try tapping the safe door gently with a rubber mallet to loosen the bolts and then try to open it.
Mechanical Malfunction: If the safe still does not open, there may be a mechanical malfunction. In this case, you will need to contact a professional safe technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
Note: If you have lost your key, you will need to contact Sentry Safe customer service to order a replacement key.
Some safes come with a key to open it with when this happens.key hole is cancelled under or near the keypad...not sure if yours is one of them.or there maybe a slot to plug in a battery pack .good luck..hope I have helped.
Internal batter is low...look for two pin points on the outside of the combo and attatch a new battery temporairly then work combo. Insert new battery when you get it open. Hope this helps Ed
The factory code combination to your electronic lock will remain in the
memory of the unit - even if the batteries go dead. Any use programmed
codes will be lost if the batteries lose power. The Sentry programmed
factory code is always your default code.
If you do not know your factory code, you can follow this link for your combination retrieval:
Use paperclip to push in pin size hole below keyboard and then slide panel to right. Battery box is right there. Replace batteries and then was already to accept code.
I finally ignored the poorly-written instructions for programming a personal code and simply entered the factory code first and then pressed the prog/enter code button. The safe opened. The instructions tell you to push the prog/enter code first and then enter the factory code or personal code to open the safe. Wrong! Do it my way should this problem happen to you.
