Post the model number of your opener. It is on the end of the motor unit nearest the door. It starts with 139. Also post the model number of your new remote. It should also start with 139.

Need to know how to reset keypad for garage door.

If you pressed and immediately released the smart/learn button and then walked over to the keypad and keyed in a 4 digit code and it doesn't work then the keypad is bad. The model number for the opener is on the door side of the motor unit and starts with 139.

Your opener was manufactured before there were safety sensors and there is no way to add them. You would be miles ahead to replace the opener with a new state of the art model.

I have a craftsman 41a3625 garage door opener with a #53876 wireless keypad. I just bought the house. How do I get a new code. They did not leave the old code.

On the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this button and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Grage door blinking yellow, click and won't open with anything.

TRY RESETTING THE UNIT BY UNPLUGGING IT FOR ABOUT 5 MIN.

IF WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN THE REMOTES STILL DON'T WORK TRY TO REPROGRAM THEM.
IF STILL HAVING TROUBLE--
COUNT THE FLASHES - GOTO LIFTMASTER.COM DOWNLOAD A FREE PDF FOR A SIMILAR UNIT (THE MODEL NUMBERS ARE DIFFERENT BUT THE CODES ARE THE SAME).
HOPE THIS HELPS

Can't use remote to open garage door

I had the same issue when I moved to a new place.

I was not able to find very much information on the interenet about it. Your remote has lost its sync with the garage door opener.

I called the 1-800 number located on the unit itself (yeah it took a ladder to get it) and the walked me though the setup in about 2 minutes.

I spent longer on hold than it took to setup the remote.

You need to make sure that you a clear on the model #s before you call them.
