PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PIN numberto unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are then given10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is entered afterthe 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and will require anew SIM card from your mobile phone provider. You have to purchase the Link Module from your local alarm dealer and have them install it onto your existing audiovox alarm unit. The Link Module will come with it's own SIM ID and the 4 digit PASSCODE will be provided to you by the dealer for activations. the problem with this remote is that it is used for a bunch of different models you have to look under the dash and get your unit model number and then check the crime stopper manuals for that units number you do this at www.crimestopper.com under support tab click on manuals and manuals again and then choose the model number you found under your dash
To find the SIM ID * sim card number * What you can do is one of the following things, 1. Enter the following in a fast succession ** which means really fast -lol- ** : #, * , Menu , Right Arrow ( right arrow = ----> ) if you don't know which is the MENU, it may look like 2 small phone books, underneath the left arrow, 2.
