SOURCE: Just got a Sandisk Sansa

Go into device manager under Start --> Control Panel --> system --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> right click device and follow any troubleshooting that Microsoft reccomends

If that fails to resolve, try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

SOURCE: sandisk sansa fuze not connect to the pc

Could be a couple of things. There may be damage to the USB port on either the player or your PC. The cable may also be defective. If you are using an older PC, it may not use the right USB technology for the device. Newer devices use USB 2.0 which looks the same as the original USB technology, but is much faster.

I have usb conection in my car stereio.and it wont read the sandisk fuze

The USB connection on your car's stereo is for listening to songs copied onto a USB flash drive.
The USB drive should be formatted in FAt or FAT32 and its size may also be limited to only 1GB although newer models are capable of reading higher capacity drives.
It will not read music from your Fuze as it is not of a correct format.

Can an 8GB microSDHC card be used in my Sansa Fuze 4GB mp3 player

Actually, it sounds as if the card is working. The more you have on the card, the more free internal memory you'll need so it can build its media database. Remove the card, then delete some files from the internal memory to free up space. Then reinsert the card.

I had a pre-loaded song on my Sandisk Sansa Module Fuze MP3 playe

I think the song you are looking for is "Babylon of the Orient" by the Shanghai Restoration Project featuring Amos Wimbush. It contains the phrases "Come on and Holla back, I want to Holla at you.".

Trouble uploading pictres to my SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8GB..

You need to use the Sansa Media Converter, supplied with the device, to convert pictures (and videos) to a format the Sansa can handle.

My PC does not recognize my Sansa c240

I just purchased this model for my boyfriend, had a hell of a time trying to figure it out, but after doing numerous google searches, I figured out that you have to place the lock/unlock or "hold" on some models into the lock position, then hold down the rewind button DON'T LET GO UNTIL THE PC RECOGNIZES IT!! It should work. I downloaded all the firmware and stuff I could (not even sure what firmware is... lol... just did it cuz that's what I read to do). Once I did this, it picked it up within 60 secnods and now my PC recognizes it everytime I plug it in. I was up unitl 1am this morning trying to get the darn thing to be recognized... I hope this saves you some sleep! LOL

Sansa c240 mp3 player not cooperating

I had the same problem. The easiest fix is to change the USB setting to MSC mode from the default is MTP mode. On some unit this is easier said then done because their is no USB setting option. I contacted Sandisk and they said that I needed to update the firmware. I found two solutions. First, try connecting to another computer. For some reason I was able to connect to my wife's laptop and was able to update the firmware. Second, manually forcing into MSC mode.
1. turn off the player
2. move hold switch to on (toward the record button)
3. hold rewind button (left side)
4. connect to computer while holding the rewind computer.

Hope this help.
