Konica Bizhub C350, need to setup ip address - Konica Minolta bizhub 350 All-In-One Laser Printer

This is a very common issue in connecting printer in a LAN.

First of all you need to set up a fixed IP address in your Printer. Please follow this as per your user manual. Secondly you need to check whether this fixed IP address is reserved or not. If it is not reserved, please reserve this Fixed IP address assigned to your printer with the unique printer MAC address. You need to follow the usual manual as per your router in how to reserve fixed IP address for a particular device. Thirdly you need to allow your firewall settings in your PC to get through communication with this printer, else your PC will be blocked to communicate with this printer.

Finally just install the printer driver program in your PC and it should work now.

bizhub c350 is not installed properly, the driver you are using are the correct drivers.

Pick set of software that matches your OS, such as windows XP.

Follow install instructions and the printer will show up in your PRINTERS AND FAXES control panel. You can then go into that and set the options you may have, such as the stapler/booklet maker.

You will need to know the printers IP address, such as 198.162.1.10
prior to running installer.

If the printer really is connected to a "hub" (not a "switch", not a "router"), then you'll have to use the controls on the printer to *ASSIGN* an IP-address to the printer.

If the printer is connected to a "switch" or a "router", it should _automatically_ obtain an IP-address. Use the controls on the printer to *VIEW* the IP-address that it obtained.

To setup LPR Printing, perform the following:
For Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003:
1. For Windows 2000, click the [Start] button, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
2. For Windows XP/Server 2003, click the [Start] button, and then click Printers and Faxes.
3. Right-click the icon of the installed printer, and then click Properties.
4. On the Ports tab, click the [Add Port] button.
5. In the Available Printer Ports list, select Standard TCP/IP Port, and then click the [New Port] button.
6. When the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard starts up, click the [Next] button.
7. In the Name of printer or IP address box, enter the IP address for this machine, and then click the [Next] button.
8. Select Custom, and then click the [Settings] button.
9. Select LPR, enter Print in the Queue Name box, and then click the [OK] button.
10. Click the [Next] button, and then click the [Finish] button to apply the setting.

I guess you mean the c350 is not printing while Windows said the job has been sent? If so, it may have changed IP Address from the time you first install the Printer on Windows. Check the Ports setting of the c350 printer! e.g.
Network Pritners should have Static IP address or at least a reserved DHCP IP Address. Logon to your Router, check the MAC Address of the c350 and reserve/assign it a IP Address near the end of the DHCP range. Save the Router configuration and power cycle the c350. Confirm IP Address changed to the reserved IP. 

Then you have to change all the PC's Printer Configuration of the c350's Port to update the reserved/assigned IP. Or remove the c350 from Printers and Faxes, then run the printer setup software again.

Easiest way is to change to SMB scanning which will give you direct scanning to PC or server. Create a new address in the machines address tab in the browser add the (must be a fixed) ip address of the machine it is going to with the folder name, user name and password and it will work a treat.
