Normally, if you have a cable with USB connection for you device, the computer will automatically discover the device after it is plugged into the computer - plug and play. Allow Windows to load the driver and wait for it to tell you it is ready for use. Then check "My Computer" and look for the recorder icon. If the icon is visible, double click it and open the audio files you want to transfer to the computer. It's just a matter of cut and paste or copy and paste to your desired location in your computer.

Dont work any sound

If you have the cd installer of the acer aspire 3000 PC. Insert it to your cdrom drive and the autoplay will execute and load the cd installer. Install only the audio driver so that your hardware will be fix.

In case you do not have the cd installer, you can also download the driver installer from their official website and install the audio driver after downloading or visit this acer support website.

After installing the audio driver but still no sound, download this codec this will play all the multimedia format. Click this link and click the download latest version for mozilla firefox browser click save, for internet explorer after clicking the download latest version click the (To help protect your security) then click download file then click save button. After downloading, install the program just next, next and after installing play any multiplayer format. Have a nice day.

I have a number of RiDiscs with 4.7GB of material ( lectures) that I want to download on smaller discs so that I can play on my car cd player. How do I accomplish this?

The easiest way:

check the item on the link below:

http://www.i-source-global.com/epages/170990.sf/?ObjectPath=/Shops/170990/Products/RFMP3SD2&ViewAction=ViewProductViaPortal&Locale=en_US

Copy your audio file from the disc to a USB (pen drive) I am assuming your files are in mp3 format. Else use the audio ripping software mentioned below to rip the audio file and save in mp3 format and copy that file into the pen drive/SD card.

Connect the transmitter to your cigarette lighter adapter. Turn your car radio on. Tune the FM channel to a frequency, where there is no radio channels. Note that frequency. There will be a + and minus button on the transmitter. Press it up or down to bring the transmitter to the noted frequency. You can now hear the audio through your radio.

Different options of this transmitter are available. Some use a SD card instead of USB drive. All cost around $25.00

The second method is to rip the audio files to your hard disc. Use any software. For an example,
Check the link below:

http://www.freerip.com/

Download and Install. If your cd player is capable of playing MP3 files, rip the audio files from your disc as mp3 files to your hard disk. copy them to regular cd's. (assuming you have a CD burning software)

If your cd player is not capable of playing mp3 files, rip them and save as .wav files.

Then you need a cd burning software.

Go to the link below:

http://alternativeto.net/desktop/k3b/?platform=windows

Download K3B. Install

Open it. Select, a new audio project.
Drag your .wav files into it. Burn it. and you are ready to go.

The computer you're using right now? Does it have a CD burner?
Go to the computer manufacturers website, then to Support, your computer name, model name, and model number, and to the Drivers and Software Download page.

Download the Audio driver. Copy, (Burn), it to CD disk.
Install the disk in your computer, double-click on the file name. The Installation Wizard will lead you through the installation of this audio driver.

Sound card drivers

SOLUTION #1: If you have a driver CD that came with your eMachine, look for the audio folder on the CD. If there is a "setup" program inside this folder, then run it. SOLUTION #2: Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, right click on sound device, choose Update driver, install from list, don't search, have disk, browse to the audio driver location on the driver CD, then okay it. SOLUTION #3: Download the file from the following URL, unzip it, then run the SETUP program inside the folder. http://downloads.emachines.com/drivers/audio/T1140_50_Audio.zip
