Hi, my name is John. Welcome to FixYa. Take a regular ac dc volt meter and set it on what ever scale that you are charging to see that it is charging. Check that the battery clips are hooked up properly. If still no avail. Because it is still in warranty, just return it. Thanks for choosing FixYa....John

I have a brand new Ryobi kit put battery in the charger the red light goes on and the green light flashers on and off is this charging or should the green light go off until battery is charged.

When the battery is charged the green will be steady on and the red will go off. Flashing green is an indication that it is charging.

hope this helps?

Ntn7143cr battery won,t charge. put in charger flashes red then green.

Clean your battery contacts on the battery and charger with a pencil eraser to assure good contact. Flashing red or flashing in general usually is the sign of a too low to charge battery, a shorted battery or a bad connection. In some instances, a battery will begin to charge once left on the flashing charger for an hour or so. Try this and see if the light becomes constant. If so, it is charging. If it still flashes, replace the battery.

Best regards.

Motorola s9 headset not charging

I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.

Red light flashing

It is either defective, or it has something touching one of the contacts causing a short. It would be best to replace the charger. Typically they are somewhat like a light bulb, they will burn out over time and need replaced.

Treo 680 charging light flashes red when disconnected from charger

Have you activated phone yet? When phone is activated and in service it flashes green. It's hard to believe it would flash green without a SIM card, as there is no service...unless AT&T is providing emergency service only and you're getting a flashing green which means you're in range of their towers.
