I need 2 install my x5470 printer but i dont have my cd

If you have the printer CD, install it by placing in CD drive and run setup.

if you dont have printer cd.. Please download the drivers from

depends on the Operating system. and install on laptop. just follow the instuctions on installation.

Copy and paste on your address bar and download the driver of your printer from there. That should do the trick.

Just download it and save wherever you want it, like pen drives, hd, etc...

If your trying just to install the drivers, goto http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Type in your model ie:X5470 and you can download the drivers for your operating sytem right from the Lexmark web page. I asume the the machine is using USB to print, so download the driver and install it, then plug the USB cable from the printer into your computer and windows will do the rest.

You say your computer was incompatible? What does that mean? You should be able to get the software installed this way:

1. Go to the Lexmark Find Drivers/Product Selector page.
2. Enter Lexmark X5470 under "Search by Model", and click the Search button.
3. Select your OS from the dropdown (XP, Vista etc.).
4. Click Download Now.
5. If you're asked to Save or Run, choose to Run (it keeps you from having to go find the file and double-click it later).
