I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best lace to get the owner’s manual for the Carpet Cleaning System for the Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition is to contact the Kirby factory cust serv dept and give them the model # and serial # is needed and they should be able to send out an owner’s manual for you as per the conversion t the carpet cleaning system.
