Question about Olympia CDP 24201 Cordless Phone
The book says :
1. Press the down arrow to go to MENU, then press the down arrow to select HS setting, then registration, then register
2. My CDP 24106 base station does not have a "mute" button. In the instruction manual, there is an error and an errata sheet that came with, it says to press and hold down the "Page" on the base station for about 10 seconds. The "envelope" icon will flash, and you will hear a Beep to confirm the base station is discoverable.
3. Then press next to continue.
4. Select the CDP BASE and connect it.
5. Enter 0000 as a password.
6. You now should be registered.
Note on some base stations, there is a "mute" button, in this case, press the mute button.

can not get base phone too connected
I just bought the phone from value village but I'am unable to use it. i have a constant message that, the base is not connected.
I can get the base phone to work but cannot activate the second handpiece. All is fine until the command to enter the bluetooth ID, which isn't relevant since I'm not using bluetooth.
I tried to "Register my handset" but to do this, I have to Press and hold "mute" on the base station for 10 seconds. I can not find a "mute" button an the base station. The only button on the Base station that can be pressed is the "Page" button.
I have the same problem when trying to register my handsets to the base. In my case, my phones sat unused for years unplugged. The process above described by others begins fine but terminates without completing the registration. In my case, I suspect my batteries are too weak to complete the process. I will replace them both before moving on.
I have a "mute" button.
