On the back of the fan there are 6 recessed phillips head screws around the circumfrence of the fan. You must use a longer screwdriver as the screws are set in a couple of inches.

The two screws on the bottom are a little harder to see.

There are also two clips on the sides front cover. Squeeze on the sides gently to release these.

Can i clean my own sawing machine ? I own different machines and i can easily open en clean , i cant figure out how to open this one

The older mechanical machines are easy to open, clean, and lube the internal workings.

Computerized machines are pretty well self-contained. Other than cleaning the bobbin area and feed dogs of stray threads, lint, and dust bunnies, and if directed apply a drop of oil to the hook, there is not much else an owner should do. Of course, it is recommended that it be serviced every year.

How do I clean the Lakewood Tower Fan LWTF-42/RC-DLX. How can I open it to clean the blades

Open the grills and use a long stem tipped with cloth dipped in kerosene to lightly clean the dust. Then use a similar arrangement of dry cloth wound on it to wipe clean the moist dirt. Repeat the process and you will have a clean blade. Use a jet air blower to assist you , use face mask and do it out in the open.

It wont clip. sounds like it is working but the blade wont move. thanks

Open and clean the blades well use some light oil to clean . it is possible that the cut hair had entangled into the moving parts and joints. You must always clean the blades with the given brush after the shaving is done. If the blades are not moving then the gear drive from the motor is defective or worn out. you will need to open out the assmebly to confirm on thisbut replcement will be difficult. Hope you try. Good day

How do I get my cool operator fan apart to clean the darned thing

hi! there,
well! no brand and model, anyway the guard fan has a quick clip lockaround the fan blade,be sure to unplug your electric fan before doing this, unlock clip lock then the fan has a quick handy lock knob at the center of the fan observed loosening knob there is direction arrow in loosening this if i'm wrong going counter clockwise,or take the direction indicated marked on top of knob.
pull out the blade and have it clean if this is a plastic or aluminum clean it with water and spounge/cleanser,avoid to distorsion on fan blade if happen this will wiggle when run again be carefull and on the second guard fan still connected to your electric fan, there is plastic lock nut release and pull out the 2nd fan guard, try to clean this with water and cleanser, the motor assembly with control and stand just wipe it out ,don't try to get wet specially the motor, let all dried up before reassemble.reverse the process to eassembly

I want to take it apart to clean the fan blades ....how do I get to the blades.Cant figure out how to take off the protective grill?

remove all screws from the back and then slowly pry off from the back its click on there are latches that secures the backing, also remove the screws that holds the controls.

slowly pry open the case, i did mine in the middle and work my way around the unit, but it a bit tricky..

the best way to clean the device is to use a air compressor, strong air blowing inside while holding the blade with a screw driver. and even using a paint brush with long bristle, while blowing, this way you dont have to take the device apart.

good luck

Honeywell HFD 135 FAN BLADES DIRTY

I used a can of compressed air to clean my fan blades and this did the job. I bought a 6-pack of 3M Dust Remover at Sams Club to save money. Hope this helps.
