What exactly do you mean. Is it "black" pictures (something very common for your model camera). If so, this sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager, and is a known defect for your particular model camera.. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free if you live in the US, Canada, and a select few other countries. If you live outside the US, contact Canon support for your country to see if they'll still honor the advisory (some still will, especially if you stress you knowledge that this is a known defect of the camera). They may also include free shipping both ways (free shipping varies with countries). This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please see this link for more info.

Affected cameras with this problem include: A60, A70, A75, A80, A85, A95, A300, A310, S1 IS, S60, S400, S410, S500, SD100, SD110, IXUS V2/V3/300/400/430/500/II/IIs, IXY Digital 200a/300a/320/400/450/500/30/30a

Imac won't recognize camera

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

Card locked shows of view finder, cannot take a picture it shows a't picture but won't take a picture

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Do I need a driver for my sanyo vpc 5885 digital camera because it won't download pictures to my computer via USB anymore. It turns on and then as soon as I push "set" for the PC the lense...

Easiest solution is to get a USB card reader and then use that to transfer the data - the PC will just see the card as an extra drive.

I have a samsung camera and I had 700 plus pictures on the sim card. I go to download the pictures and it is not on the card anymore. Only half of the pictures download

First of all...leaving 700 pics on a card is risky since memory cards are not built for long-term storage. You should have downloaded them long ago. Try using a card reader....your pics may show up.

Please help me, i have a fuji finepix a350 camera and i won my camera to show the date inside the picture, i tryed all the options but it shows the date for 2-3 seconds on the scren and then does not shows...

You can't get date on the pictures, when viewing them on the screen og on the computer. You can print pictures with date printed on them. Press Menu/OK while viewing the picture on the camera. Select DPOF, select With date. You need to do this with every single picture you want date on. It also requires your printer to be DPOF compatible.
