I had the same problem. I have a DCD950 keyless chuck. Spry some DW40 into the check and try again. it worked like a charm for me.

How do I get a stuck bit out of my DeWalt dc 895?

Reverse and Forward Mode: Try putting the drill in reverse mode and hit the trigger, then forward mode. If that doesn't work, tap the tip on the driveway but don't slam it. It should release .

Use a Wrench: First, make sure that the chuck is in the locked position. Next, use an allen wrench to loosen the set screw on the side of the chuck. Finally, unscrew the drill bit from the chuck .

Remove Chuck Collar: Use a wrench or pliers to loosen the chuck collar and remove it from the chuck. Then, use a screwdriver or other tool to remove the chuck jaws and any other components that may be blocking access to the stuck drill bit. Once these components are removed, you should be able to access the drill bit and remove it from the chuck .

Removing the drill bit from the chuck.

Very often, a certain size of drill bit can get "swallowed " by the drill chuck.
It has happened to me often.
I recommend you insert the drill bit into a vise and tighten it well, leaving a 1/8 inch gap to the chuck.
Take a large screwdriver and pry the chuck away from the vise.
It should come out.
God bless your efforts.

The chuck on my new makita drill is stuck with a drill bit in it. It won't open back up.

This is caused by tightening the chuck using the drills power, if you clamp the bit in a vice and using a pair of multi grips on the chuck in an anti clockwise direction gently bounce the grips and after a few tries it will undo, don't use too much pressure or try to unwind it in one move or myou will damage the chuck sleeve

My rattle gun 18V LXT Impact Driver BTD141 has a double ended Philips stuck in it? how do i get it out?

There are a couple of ways to try to free the bit from the drill chuck. But slow and steady is the key, don't hit anything too hard, so as to not damage the chuck in the process, nor break off the bit in the chuck.

You'll need to put the bit into a bench vise and reverse the drill slowly and carefully. Make sure the bit is tightly secured in the vise and that the drill won't spin your hand around and slam it into the bench when you pull the trigger.

As a last resort, you can try tapping the bit sideways, to get it loose. With chuck opened up all the way possible, gently tap the bit sideways. This should also free the bit, but be very careful not to snap the bit off in the chuck, or you'll have a worse situation trying to get a broken bit out of the chuck.

If none of these work, you can attempt to secure the stuck bit in the bench vise and try to tap the drill chuck using a hammer and a flat brass bar resting against the drill chuck, so you don't damage the chuck. Just tap the brass bar to drive the chuck free of the stuck bit. You have to watch the bit in the vise to make certain it's not slipping and that the chuck is getting free.

Hope you find this Very Helful and best regards!

Try using the low torque setting on the drill when reversing and something to assist you getting a better grip to hold the chuck from spinning when reversing. This may help.
