When I am playing a DVD. There is an error message (check regional code). When I change the regional code its giving me the same msg all over. How can I solve this problem

DVD region is an anti-piracy method to block DVDs from other countrys to be played on a region where that DVD isn't available for selling. You still can watch that DVD by changing the DVD Player region code from options but be aware that you have a limited number of changes, after changes reach 0 you cannot change DVD region code anymore and your DVD player will be stucked to a certain region that you selected.

The player has been set to play DVD from one region, so if you put in a DVD from another region it will flag it up as it can't play it. You can find out which region the player is by looking on the back it will have a number. That's the region it is set to. For example if it says 2 then you won't be able to play any disc other than region 2 ones.
However you can hack into it, by typing the model number of the DVD Player into google and the words "region code". You should get the instructions to change the code to 0 (zero) then it will play all discs.

Hi, guessing you are from the UK? Different countries operate different regions for dvd's for instance the UK dvd players are set up to play region 2 discs, and US dvd players are set up to play region 1 discs.
This is because dvd release dates are different around the world and this stops people buying a dvd in the US and bringing it back to the UK and selling it before its official UK release date for example.
Your choices are either to play the dvds on a PC where often the dvd software will allow you to change region a number of times (be careful though as some players will let you change region say 5 times and then be locked to that region)
Or to get hold of or buy a multi region dvd player which plkays dvd'd regardless of their original region

check the region of the new one probably it is region 4 made in china.your disc is a region one thats the reason why it cannot play on your new dvr which is a region 3 or 4.go on the web and see hw you can hack the code or burn a copy of that same disc.then try it in your new dvr.good luck
