I have a Kenmore Elite Calypso HE top loading washer Model 110.22062102. It suddenly drained all the water all over the floor. It has alternately showed ld and ob error codes with one LS error. I have had the unit apart (can't say I am impressed with the thin, saran wrap(copywrite, I know) "overflow bag." I did retrieve two dimes and that stopped the loud banging noise. The drain will drain with gravity, but the drain will not drain up to the drain pipe and continues to run all over the floor. Can you help with this? I know there have been many problems with this model, but honestly I have only had to work on it once. As a single woman, I'd be tearing it totally apart again, but I have been injured by an SUV hitting me and am not able to do a lot of manual labor at this point and am relying on others to do this for me. Hoping for thoughts to minimize the usual trial and error. Thanks!

ob Off Balance If the motor controller detects an unrecoverable off-balance condition, the machine controller will shut down and display an ob for Off Balance The lid switch must be opened at least once before restarting the cycle, if this condition occurs. Opening the lid will allow the customer to view and redistribute the load.
if this does not fix the issue it is most likely the strut and shock system that is falty on the machine. you could replace them yourself but they are fairly expensive

This is a common problem with the Calypso washers. The problem that you are having is related to the pump. There is something in the pump that is causing the error code to occur. Since the pump isn't working right all of the water isn't draining out thus causing it to be out of balance. If you can get down to the pump and check it out chances are you will find something in it. It might just be some fabric or string from clothing caught around the pump motor. Just make sure you clamp off the hoses or you will flood your laundry room. Once you clear out the pump unplug the washer and wait a few minutes before plugging it back in.
