Ours had a problem like that. The digibox and the dvd player (anything plugged in with a SCART lead) only played in black and white but the tv menu screen was in colour.
Also anything plugged in with those three little thingies, the red/yellow/white thingies, played in colour so we just bought a converter between SCART and the three thingies.
Sorry for how useless this was, I'm not great with all the technical language. Hope it helped in some way.

Went black and white rca f32648

so far no proper details are available regarding resetting this particular TV ( f32648 ) .... i have checked user manual also

have you tried following things

1 - playing different dvds (dvd player )
2 - changing different channels ( cable tv or antenna )
3 - increasing ( to maximum ) & decreasing ( to minimum ) [in menu ]
contrast colour tint black level sharpness
picture presets auto colur colour warmth
4 - auto channel searching ( cable tv or antenna )

even after these trials if picture is in black & white then it is a hardware problem - since it is a rare problem no details are available about which component might have got deffective ...... only the service engineer who opens & checks your tv can tell the exact deffective component .......... sometimes it can be loose connection ( cracks at soldering joints - hit your TV lightly with your hand on left side or right side or on top - if color comes & goes then it is loose connection problem - all soldering joints should be resoldered by service engineer ) ..... or an IC might have got deffective ......... only after opening & checking your tv mainboard exact deffective component can be identified ......

for nearest RCA service center call 1800 336 1900 ( this number got from your TV's user manual - click this link for your TV's user manual - free down load - RCA F32648 model - http://download.rca.com/FilesForRCAcom/Manuals/15491880.pdf

Rca big sreen went black and white menue is still in color

Try using one of the other video input options, like AV inputs. If still have black and white picture, then the color processor is having issues. If now in color, then your tuner has issues detecting the chroma / luminance signal.

If you are using an external digital box, this may be the source of the problem as well. If you still have a VCR, connect the coax from VCR to the coax input on the TV, and play a tape. Tune the tv to channel 3 or 4. If in color, then your set top digital box is faulty.

Wii menu and all sports in black and white; how do we get color?

You are probably plugged into the wrong RCA slot for your Wii's configuration. If your TV is an HDTV you need to either go to your Wii's settings and change the TV settings to HD or remove the Wii RCA (Red/Yellow/White) from the HD slot and put them in the standard input RCA slot. Red/Yellow/White insted of Red/Green/White.

My wii connection is black and white

You are connecting it into the wrong input. The Wii comes with a RCA cables that should go into the Video (composite) input that has yellow, red, and white. The component input will not work with the RCA cable input. Plug your Wii into Video1 and you should get the right colors. There should be another HDMI on the side of your TV, there are inputs located both on the back and side of the TV for your convience.

RCA TV lost Color

It sounds like your grandson found the "monochrome" setting in the menu on your remote. It may be in the "picture settings", "set-up" or "advanced" setting.

Hi! name's wesley. anyways, here's the problem. i just bought a new samsung 32' lcd tv and everything is great except for one thing: when i connect my ps2 to the "av 2" input, the sound comes out...

There is a problem with the AV2 input. Since this is a new set, return it for repair or exchange. DO NOT open it up as that would void the warranty.
