SOURCE: my red light is blinking 3 times, the picture

Hi,It sounds like an issue with the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. The ballast has a sensor that it detects when lamp is not responding or if ballast is not able to provide enough power to light it up,that's when you get the lamp indicator. This is the most common failure .When you put a new bulb in sometimes the ballast is not able to power it since it uses more voltage that what it was providing to the old lamp. The ballast is something easy to replace and it's cheaper than the lamp.Have a bless one!

Testimonial: "Thank you so much, and God Bless you. Also how can I replace tha Ballast and where is it located. Thx."

SOURCE: Constant blinking red "lamp" light.

those lamps may look good but can still be bad, they build a internal resistance and there get to the point where the tv will not come on at all.

Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
