Hi,

The problem is that if you ever use the memory stick on other camera besides the Sony DSC-F707 or format the memory stick on a computer instead of using the camera's format feature, then you will experience the "Memory Stick Error C:13:01" problem.

Here's the solution that finally will solve your issue. Take any lead pencil. Take the eraser and rub it on the gold contacts on the memory stick as if you are erasing writing on paper.

Do this for about 30 seconds or more until you get all the gold contacts. Put the stick in the camera, switch to 'Setup', then turn the camera on. The 'C:13:01' error will automatically disappear. At this point, quickly format the memory stick using the camera's format feature.

CAUTION: NEVER FORMAT YOUR MEMORY STICK ON OTHER CAMERAS, USING A COMPUTER WITH A MEMORY STICK READER OR USING WINDOWS XP WITH A USB CABLE PLUGGED TO THE CAMERA. IT DOESN'T WORK. FORMAT YOUR MEMORY STICK USING THE CAMERA'S BUILT IN FUNCTION ONLY.

Please revert me, if you need more assistance, i would be very glad to assist you more.

If you were satisfied with the solution please rate this sollution.
Thanks For using FixYa!

Hi, I am interested in purchasing the onis 2.3 dicom system for our vascular lab. I have ordered the 30 day trial offer which is working great with my phillips 11 xe US system. I downloaded the onis...

Yes, you will need to install the DICOM viewer on the other computer. Instead of pasting the shortcut, you would have better luck copying the .exe file to the thumb drive to do the install on the other computer especially if that other computer does not have internet access.
You should be allowed to run the program on a trial basis on each workstation.

The disk is damaged at a hardware level - something inside it is broken. This cannot be repaired, the disk is dead and the data on it is lost.

Have Sony CyberShot DSC-F707 Sony Memory Stick Duo Adaptor and Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 4gb When installed get C:1301 error

Hi,

In DSCT1 Camera, the C:13:01 error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. Each of these codes indicates the symptoms and resolutions of the Camera. In C:13:01, the issue is with the Memory Stick being used in the Camera.

The Symptoms are:

Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB is not compatible with the DSCF707 Camera. Maximum capacity supported by the Camera is up to 128MB. Please try using a MS with 128 MB and check if it works. A dedicated adapter (MSAC-M2) must be attached to use Memory Stick Duo or MagicGate Memory Stick Duo media.

Thanks.
