How do i format 1 tb seagate ,and how do i use it after to store my data from my desktop windows xp computer

http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

Try to download the bundle of software from this link. This will be in ISO format probably. Write it on a CD /DVD. You can get your answer after booting with this CD. Choose proper options so that you can sure format your 1` TB HDD. I did it, or you can connect this HDD to another HDD as slave and can format this 1TB HDD.

Heat Shield or HDD

At first check the fan went for any ribbon like dust accumulation. If this is the case open covers and clean fan. Remove heatsink and clean everything, apply new thermal compound/thermal pad and put back everything as before.remember to tighten the screws in chris- cross direction at maximum you can, but not break or harm any other components. see if any difference happen.

I have accidentally formatted my partition drive f

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in computer hard drive erased permanently.

Those deleted data is still stored on the computer hard drive , it's just invisible or inaccessible. Only the FAT or NFTS table is erased (the information about where those data were saved), but the real data are still intact there in sectors of the hard drive.

So as long as those data are not overwritten by new data, it's highly possible to recover them. And the MOST Effective way is to rely on some format recovery programs.

Try asoftech data recovery program, which can recover data after deeply scanning your computer hard drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted. download the software from link below

I have a Toshiba estudio 202L copier. It has been working fine. When I turn it on, I hear it turning on like usual and see the light come on under the paper tray, there are no error messages, display...

try formatting the HDD (make sure you backup templates and address book if you use them.) To format HDD hold 0 and 8 while turning on the copier, when the machine comes ready key in 690 and hit start. It will then display "2 2", hit start again. Wait for it to say please reboot the machine, turn it off and back on. Hopefully this will work but if not, your HDD will need replacing.

How can recover data from free agent desktop hdd

Well you should have gone in and marked the sectors that you think are bad, by formatting it odds are you wiped the data off it, you can try a low level recover but I dont think your going to find much. Sorry format means format.
