You have to have the deck in "standby" mode before entering the settings menu. Press the source button until Standby comes up, then press and hold the menu button. Use the 4-way switch to scroll through the menu options until you get to AUX, then press the switch to the right to turn it on.
Selecting the (SRC) button to "AUH" which is the auxiliary input.
If this does not work.
Then set the unit to standby mode. By pressing the (SRC) button until "STBY" is displayed. You need to check that "On AUH" is enabled. Now try the "AUH" again.
press the src "source" button untill it comes up aux mode, you may have to go into another settings menu to activate the auxiliary inputs on the headunit
i have a kdc 135 and i had the same problem. you have to go to standby
mode, then hold down the menu button until MENU appears. then toggle up
or down with the button on the right and it will say aux. then toggle
left or right to turn aux on/off and then after that when you hit
source it will come up as an option.

Try doing it when the unit is in standby. press the SRC button until the unit says Standby, then press menu. If you dont find it in there, try the same way but press and HOLD Menu. If that doesnt work give me a call when your near your radio.******please rate this for him not for me, he solved the problem and it does work, i own a kdc 135*******
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
