Enable the auxillary in the menu system.
Here's ->LINK-< a manual to show you how.

Plug something like an Ipod in and away you go.

I have a kenwood kdc-mp235 unit and I bought a cable to hook smart phone to auxiliary port, I can play a cd or tunerbut no auxiliary! How do I fix this, I push src button but I get no auxiliary selection

You have to have the deck in "standby" mode before entering the settings menu. Press the source button until Standby comes up, then press and hold the menu button. Use the 4-way switch to scroll through the menu options until you get to AUX, then press the switch to the right to turn it on.

I got this from yahoo, click here to view.

Hope it helps.

Cannot assess my aux input on kdc 237

  • Selecting the (SRC) button to "AUH" which is the auxiliary input.
  • If this does not work.
  • Then set the unit to standby mode. By pressing the (SRC) button until "STBY" is displayed. You need to check that "On AUH" is enabled. Now try the "AUH" again.

Try doing it when the unit is in standby. press the SRC button until the unit says Standby, then press menu. If you dont find it in there, try the same way but press and HOLD Menu. If that doesnt work give me a call when your near your radio.******please rate this for him not for me, he solved the problem and it does work, i own a kdc 135*******

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
