Freezer is working, but refrigerator is not cooling. Food is now collecting mold on dairy products. What is causing this?

the motor of the compressor may have tripped on overload protection. Allow it to cool down and then unplug the fridge then plug it back in and try to run it. It should run. Be advised that the condenser coils underneath need to be clean. You should have a strong person tilt the empty fridge while you vacuum and clean all the dust and lint off the coils. Be gentle as these coils are fragile and are easily damaged. Hope this helps.

Because Your model has an adaptive defrost board Part number Click Here=> 241508001 it is the most likely reason for the defrost or not cooling problem. Frost or snow will be collecting on the freezer walls. Click Here=> Frigidaire Controls FRS6LF7JW3 number 23 is the adaptive defrost and 115 is the auto damper and I need you to make sure it is opening and closing properly. This refrigerator is a little complex because the thermostat, auto dampre and Adaptive defrost are all wired together so don't give up until we locate the one of the three causing the problem. setting warmer freezer should open damper and cause colder fresh food. Check the following: is the defrost timer cycling. If it is is the heater working, located behind the freezer back panel, defrosts the Evaporator coil that makes cold.

Time & temperature. Even if kept at the proper temperature, dairy products will separate in time. Bacteria will also do it. If you drink from the bottle, the enzymes in your saliva will infest and break down the whole container. It's being digested in the container, like feeding baby food from the jar. The food in the jar becomes watery, because it's being digested.

Make sure the evaporator fan is operating. Since the fresh food side is cooled by the air flow from the freezer side. Check for blockage of the air duct from the freezer to the fresh food side. Set the temp control half way. Over adjusting this setting can cause problems with cooling. If I can help you any farther, let me know.

It´s probably overloaded. Any refrigerator has a specific cooling capacity eg x Kg/24hours. you must check that capacity and charge acording to that.
