What would cause the door to not always open or starts to open and then recloses? Thank you

Sounds like a problem with a door sensor or the body control module. The body computer takes signals from the doors and activates the horn in the case of theft. It also powers the door locks.
You may be able to pull the fuse for the bcm but that could cause more problems when you go to start the truck.

Dear Sir:
you have 2 options:
1) The board can be faulty, tight any connector, loose wire, break, or burn. see if some component is heated.
2) The start button can be dirty , or stuck, clean with special spray contact cleaner.
3) Test the switch door, if there switch is defective some time work other not. If is defective remember this close the start relay for turn ON the main motor see the schematic.God bless you

Try cleaning the door seal and add a little lube to it with a soft cloth.

If it is left open too long the door chime will happen. Compressors don't like stop start stop start. 6 to 7 min is a while for summer.

This is normal when compressor starts u can hear some gurgling from evap. from feron flowing. If you hear gurgling only when you close the door it's water in drain pan when you close the door air is forced down drain tube blowing air into water.

Doot lock hook may not be engaging or door lock is faulty- wiggle the door around while pushing on it, check the door hook , replace the electric latch

It's likely the door switch broke when you reclosed the door. If the dryer still thinks the door is open it won't start.

The first thing to try is to reclose the access door to the lamp area. There are interlocks there that may be marginally connected. Try to reclose all access doors and report the results here.

Your temperature is to high and running wild . So the system has shut it down for safety reasons.
You need to call service for a diagnoses
if you do get it running, do not leave it unattended or better yet do not use it as is!
