I have a 4gb slick mp3 and video player. I can't get the right format to work with the slick player. model number is mp550-4. i bought it at Big Lot on black friday

As I know, coby player supports mp4 video and avi video. If you don't know how to convert video, I think this step by step direction would help you a lot.

Are you sure they support those formats? Because alot of the cheaper mp3 devices usually support .mtv files which is a cheap chinese format.

This mp3 / video device willl require a converter program for putting videos in the matching format before transferring to the player.

For the correct downloads for your player select the GoGear Flash 4GB on this search page listing all 4GB Flash players:

Media converter software can be downloaded as a zip file.
Right click and select "Save Target as..." the zip file to a location on the computer.

It may be that your mp3 has specific file formats that it accepts for videos, which is most common - in which case you will have to covert or compress any standard format video into an acceptable video.

Your vidoes may be too big in actual screen size or your slick mp3 player doesn't accept videos.

You may also need the software compatible with your mp3 player in order to download video's successfully. You will need to download or install the software for your mp3 player which will make it easier to upload vdieo's. You may be able to do this via the manufacturers site, or prompted to do this when adding the device to your computer.

generly FAT32 works but be aware that when you format something it delete's all the data on it so make sure you back up every thing on it first!
