My epson sx210 printer keeps saying there is a paper jam and there isn't! I tried reinstalling it as this has solved it in the past,but not this time. Any ideas?

I suggest you return it to the shop and ask for a replacement printer as it is covered by warranty. Do not try to fix it because you most likely will void your warranty.

HELP!!!

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

The sensor lever was stuck and still blocking the sensor and that is the reason why it always say paper jam.You have to dismantle your printer if you do,you can find and trace the sensor where the paper is being inserted,most probably it is near the pick up roller (it is the one that gets the paper).

first, try turning the printer upside down and see if anything comes out. i have seen in the past kids puttnig things in there etc... and that solves the problem.

There is only 1 main pickup roller so I dont believe its that, you might also have a small piece of paper jammed in that area.

Auto paper load & paper jammed

TRY holding all 3 bottons at the same time for 20 sec this will reset the printer

See if you can turn the printer upside down and shake it. sometimes the new ink is bad. go to epson.com and look around, you can call them. I would get the hand book for your printer and read it.
