Im trying to change my NAT type on my P660HW-D1 v2 router in order to play Halo Reach against my friend on my xbox 360. It says i need to change my NAT type from Moderate to Open. I tried putting the router IP address in the address bar. Once i enter the password and enter the ZyXEL router page there is no links or ways to change any settings on the left side of the screen.

what you want to do is forwarding those ports, you need to find out what ports the xbox use, and follow the instructions in page 133 -135.

Verify you have uPNP enabled on the router and that should do the trick.

Your router may not support it, so if not, you can setup a port fowarding rule for TCP port 3074 to forward to the IP address of your xbox 360

You need to do port forwarding on your router. First, you must setup a static IP address on your XBOX. Then You must open these ports on your router setup page using Port Forwarding feature. 80 TCP and UDP, 53 TCP and UDP, 3074 TCP and UDP.

You need to enter the router configuration. How you do this varies by model, but usually involves typing your gateway address into a web browser. Look through the menu's on the router for UPNP. Turn it on. Then turn it on on the XBOX. UPNP is Universal Plugand play. that should configure the router for you automatically.
