The charger for my Samsung SL620 Digital Camera, when plugged into a power source, flashes red, then green, and then yellow. After the yellow light flashes on, it goes black and does not start charging.

What if the speed LEDs on the VR2/VSI begin to flash?

• Determine if the battery charger is connected to the power base. When the battery charger is connected to the power base, a charger inhibit feature keeps the power chair from driving. This is indicated by the VR2/VSI speed
  LED(s) flashing.
• Determine if the charger harness fuse has blown. A blown charger fuse can cause the charger inhibit to
  activate.
• Determine if all controller connections are plugged into the power base properly. If the 3-pin charger
  inhibit connector is not plugged in properly, then the charger inhibit feature will activate.

Please try this:
1) Make sure camera is OFF.
2) Plug Charger into the wall (not into camera)
3) Last think plug charger into the camera

now a wire inside the charger could be snaped at that point u should get a new one

if it is ok for take a picture? if lcd screen is red and picture is not clear, probably it is the problem of camera sensor. You need change it.

Hi, I'd suggest using a wall charger as they're able to provide more power to charge then a computers USB port. Often with camera's the USB port doesn't supply enough power so the camera doesn't charge at all.

Phil the red means battery is low and the green is a speed limit code because of the low battery if you have charged your batteries and you still get the red then you need to check the charger after charging all night does the yellow light on the charger turn green? if when you first plug in the charger if the red light is on and the other light is green then there is a problem with the wiring or connection to the batteries from the charger and you aren't charging the batteries. if when you plug the charger in and you get a red and yellow light then the charger is working but you don't ever ge a green light and the battery level gauge is still showing red then you need to replace the batteries Hope this helps

take out the batter and clean the copper terminals with a sharp knife, plug into the charger if still not working leave for 30 seconds and re-try, it took me four attempts.

Personally I would suggest leaving it in the charger maybe even overnight because if I'm not mistaken it should turn green when it is fully charged. good luck

try cleaning the battery(copper bits) try charging it on your lap top, it should flash red green orange, keep unplugging and plug back in again its worked for us

sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)
