SOURCE: I have a 37" Insignia

Try plugging hdmi cable into hdmi 1 on your TV, then open the menu on TV and find the place it lets you to make selections on this, such as Satellite or hdmi 1. One of these selections have to work.
---------
does the hdmi port gets detected when you try in other hdmi ports.if not getting detected then it can also be fault in the hdmi ports.because as you said that hdmi port number 1 works.that means wires are proper.but other hdmi ports not working that means the ports are faulty if all the setting are proper in setup.
as the ports are soldered to the unit internally.if the soldering gets loose the connection will not get complete.so re-soldering is required to the loose ports.

if you are not familiar with doing this you can get it done by local repair technician familiar with this model .
-----------
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

Sound output through hdmi

DVI is "Digital Video Interface". No Audio is transferred through this type of connection - even if one end of the cable is HDMI.

BEST solution would be to purchase a video card with HDMI output.

Alternate solution would be to run audio from rear audio jack to TV (assuming you have an input on the TV that will accept it)

Just powering on my new ASUS M4A88T-V EVO Motherboard to check if I have my connections done right, Receiving two short beeps then no beeps, Trying to find out what that means

2 Beeps? maybe Parity circuit failure

it is responsible for generating and checking the parity bit on the system memory when parity checking is used. This circuitry is not working properly.

This code usually means a problem with either the system memory or the motherboard.

Try to reset the cmos remove the battery. if not check the memory, try clean the gold surface of the memory using pencil eraser.

Hooked everything up all new components, everything meets specs, computer will not boot. M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 motherboard.

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps
