I was given a B&D 2250 machine (used) and the kneading blade seems to be fused to the bottom of the machine. I have soaked it in hot water and scrapped out dough from beneath the blade but it is still stuck on tight. Any other solutions to get the blade off? I can not see it being sanitary with the blade stuck on and I would love to be able to use the machine. Thanks

Hi,
I buy and sell bread machines and have run in to your problem many times. Just log on to you tube and type in,,,,,,,,,,,How to Remove a Stuck Bread Machine Paddle or Kneading Blade"
You will need ...2 hotpads, an old shoelace or string about 3 feet long and 2 old milk jugs, detergent botlles etc......something that will provide weight than you can tie the string to. Tie the string tightly around the post and knot it tight.....the string goes in the little gap between the bottom side of the paddle and the pan. The other end is tied to the milk jugs....watch the video and it will make sense....

Can't remove kneading blade

If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.

I was given a regal bread maker model k6751 is the kneading blade supposed to turn the whole time?

No, the blade only turns when the machine is in a mix or knead cycle. There are many minutes where the blade does nothing. This is when your machine is allowing the dough to rise or at the end during the bake phase.

Blobs in bottom corners of screen from glass cleaner

First try a Q-Tip soaked in hot water. If that doesn't work, try using a small flat blade screwdriver wrapped in tissue or handkerchief soaked in hot water.

The kneading blade wont come out.Should it just pull off ?

Put a few inches of soapy water (enough to cover the padde and post) and let it soak for a couple of days. Pour it out and holding the paddle and the little impeller on the bottom of the pan start wiggling the paddle back and forth and pull, wiggle, pull, etc,...it should work lose if not go to you tube and type in "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" only if wiggling doesn't work...

HOW DO YOU GET THE PADDLE OUT OF THE MACHINE TO CLEAN

Just soak your paddle over night in soapy water and try jiggling it loose. If that doesn't work go to you tube and type in " how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle or kneading blade" in the search bar. You will see a one minute and 34 second video starring me on how to do it!
Do what is in the video after 24 hours of soaking.

The kneading blade is stuck in my Welbilt Bread Maker basket. This is an old model #ABM4900 but a new machine and used it for the 1st time and it worked great. Put hot water as suggestion in the bread...

Put a kettle of hot water on the stove.
After it starts boiling pour about 3 inches of hot water in the bread pan.

Wait about 5 minutes. Dump water out and remove blade.

If this fail. Repeat until the blade come out.

good luck.

Hi,
Take the pan out of the machine and see if you can turn the paddle by hand. If no then the paddle is stuck. If it turns freely then the drive belt in the machine fell off or is broken.

Kneading blade cooks into the loaf

Hi Jessica,

As I read the manual, under the Care & Cleaning section,

"2. If the kneading blades remain in the bread pan, grip the kneading blade and
pull straight up to remove......"

Based on the diagrams and instructions, I don't think you're supposed to pull the blades before baking...why do you want them out? Cosmetics?

If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,

Jon

Loosening up kneading blade

Try some penatrating oil. It may be rusted a little. Then tap the center with a punch.
