Unplug your set for about 2 minutes... and try to "reboot it' This seems to be VERY common on these RCA LCD sets. I do NOT know what "locks up", but if the set is dead and you get a "putt" noise from the speakers every few seconds...this IS the problem. Try it--I have "fixed" a LOT of these sets this way.

you need to remove main ckt, (m.board) some part need to re solder specially in hot area. (lost contact i one of the flickering problem you encountered.

Ur controller board it dead,the one in the middle bottom of LCD screen.It a small square board.Replaced this board should have sound and picture back.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Controller board for the replacement.

Check to make sure that the individual cables are connected to the corresponding channel. For example, DVD player is connected to the "Video 1" output on TV. On the back of your DVD, the cable is plugged in the "out" output, going to your TV the cable is plugged in the "in" output(red, white, yellow) Are you using an RCA cable(red, white, yellow) for the units?

Just recently, I was told how to get another tv.
You find a good TV service centre and ask them to fix it. If they cant you take the work order from your tv sc and call 1-877-297-8391.
You will get yourself a tv
