The gears for the focusing are either obstructed or slipping. Nothing you can do, send it to casio.

SOURCE: Casio Exilim EX-Z60 won't turn on

I have this exact same problem with my camera. My problem wasn't with the lens or the battery, but the camera's connection to the battery. When I pushed the batter all the way in, I was able to turn the camera on. Right now, I have a tiny folded up peice of paper inside, pushing the battery up more inside. This is my quick fix since I am going to a concert!! If you are in a pinch, try this.

Hello, Sorry I speak very bad english. Can I to speak french or spanish ? Thanks Francoise

Bonjour/Hola Francoise.

FixYa is really an English-language site, but no action seems to be taken against the use of foreign languages. If you try posting your question in Spanish there are many American members who will understand and the FixYa staff have a few Spanish speakers who can monitor your question to ensure it does not break the rules.

I have a casio sea pathfinder spf-51 and i opened the case to see if i could change the battery myself.Unfortunately one of the 3 springs fell out and i cant see where it should go.Can anyone help me with...

mcdevito75 here, My best advise is to see how the other 2 springs are situated in the watch, then simply follow suite with the 3rd spring. BE VERY CAREFULL THOUGH AS< ANY OR TOO MUCH RESURE ON THE CASIO DISPLAY WILL RUIN IT. If you can"t find the spot for this spring, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for help, it"s better than ruinning your watch.

Casio NP20 battery does not charge, charger keeps flashing, does this mean I need new battery? also,it has 700MAH will 800 do when I replace it? was does this mean

Hello,

If you have had the battery a long time or have charged it often it will need replacing if it does not charge.
800MAH is the capacity of the battery, how much power it can store.
800 is better than 700 and if it is a NP20 it will be OK in your camera.

Hope this helps.

Battery keeps going dead - second time around

Okay, well depending on the batteries it has different amounts of time you should charge it for, the packet of the rechargeable batteries should tell you this. Check this first because you may be charging it the incorrect amount it needs.
Ask in store you brought it from if you aren't sure.

The light on the battery charger of my casio ex-z77 light is flashing. The battery is not charging and I have checked the connection of cables and have switched outlets

from another thread, posted by theslug. This worked great for my camera.

"Hi,I just found a soultion on another website and it appears to have worked for me.Apparently the battery loses it memory when fully discharged,to fix this take a 9v battery and place the terminals + to + and - to - with the camera battery for 30 seconds or so then put the battery back in the camera and charge as normal.I just did this and it seems to be charging and the red light is solid.hope this helps."
