To remove paper jam. Just remove the toner cartridge and pullout jammed paper. If still coming paper jammed error message. Switch of the printer and the printer will roll over the paper jammed.

Changing of fuser drum is required if the print out came with the black strips. This happens when you print large volume of printing jobs.

SOURCE: Phaser 7300 Jam at Fuser

Xerox Jam at Fuser.
Do not buy this product. I own two and once you buy it xerox could care less about you as a customer. One of mine has jammed EVERY three pages, wasting a ton of time, paper, ink, etc because it starts over each time. It has been sent in for repair once already. Now I got the below response today from xerox.
Hello Craig,

We have received your request for support.

If you have tried on the online troubleshooting steps you will require a service call. Currently our records show you machine is not under contract, and our billable rates are $332.00 for the first 30 minutes and $61.00 for every 15 minutes there after plus applicable taxes. A credit card which would be preauthorized for $900 not billed until service completed and then would be billed the total amount of the
service call only. I have also copied and pasted a link below where
you can look for an Authorized Service Provider in your area as well.

SOURCE: Error 13.20.00 on HP laserjet 5200 jam inside top

This is a common issue and most times a bear to repair. There is a sensor flag mounted on the paper feed assembly behind tray 1 which has a habit of either coming off or the spring which moves it back a forth comes out of its holder. In any case it is one of the worst repairs you have to do. Many items have to come off to get to it and getting that flag and spring on correctly even with the instructions is difficult. Usually what will happen is you get the 13.20.00 error on power up with no motor movement and when you open and close the top cover, the motor will move but the same error reappears. If you are lucky it is just a case of a shred of paper blocking the sensor flag from moving and worst case of the flag having come off. You will need the service manual and check the removal and replacment section on the paper feed assembly and play close attention to the 3rd page.

sometimes this error also appears if a wrong fuser is installed in ur printer that is not ur model number.... have it checked
thank you have a nice day

SOURCE: 13/20.00 jam inside top cover message and have

Hello there
Ok try this may cleaer it.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Your fuser assembly is not rotating, the drive gear is broken, the bushings inside the bearing is broken or worn out.worst case fuser drive motor. those fusers are rated at 500k. Take the front cover of the fuser assembly off and inspect that area for the problem. look for broken gear.

I have a D660 printer, it has several papers jamed I have pulled what I can out but still jammed

I'm sorry, I believe the paper is in the fuser assy, correct? The whole fuser assy will have to be removed from the copier and taken apart to get the pieces of paper out. You will have to remove the left three covers, the cover just above the delivery cover and the small one just to the left of the delivery tray. Then remove the drum unit, the control panel, then the glass and the black cover for the ribbon scanner cable. Move the top reader assembly to the left so that the access holes align so that a long shafted phillips screw driver can be inserted to remove the three screws securing the fuser assembly. Then bend back the black milar plastic cover and unplug the three connectors that go to the fuser. Carefully remove the assembly and then remove the two screws at the top of the fuser and separate the assy. Reverse procedure. Good luck.

HP Laserjet 4100 series , paper jam output tray.( on top of the printer ). The roller under the topcover is turning the wrong way. The paper can't get out of the printer, and jams between the upper roller...

Hi F_bulsara,
First thing to try is to flip the paper over in the input tray. There are 2 sides to paper. One side may curl a bit too much due to heat of the fuser and get caught near the output rollers.

Unless the Output Assembly was assembled wrong, it is impossible for the rollers to turn the wrong way. The gear in the fuser drives the output assembly. The top rollers are rolling out.
If the rollers are not rolling, then one of the gears must be broken or missing. The output rolllers might need cleaning.

Next check the fuser unit. Disconnect power to printer and turn printer round. Remove the back output tray and the two small covers (left and right). Undo the 2 screws that hold the fuser in place. Pull the fuser out. Check the gears on side of the fuser. A broken gear in the fuser could cause this problem.

B door open

There are two switches, so if you changed the one that was working....

Possible parts affected could be
- cover top
- cover fuser
- cover front assembly
- the switch
1) check the condition of the cover - top, front assembly and cover fuser closed?
2) on the cover top there is an "actuator", a plastic bit, which presses down on the switch assembly top - is that plastic bit broken, bent or deformed?
3) on the cover front assembly there is also an "actuator", check this
4) and of course same for the fuser cover
5) top cover, check the switch, disconnect the switch (P116-1) and press/release it - does that make a difference. If not replace switch
6) same procedure with the switch (P115-1) for front cover.
