Hi,
There are various steps to fix this issue.
Step 1.
For Vista and Win 7 PC
1.Go to Control Panel - Power Options
2.On the Left side there is a column - " Click Change when the computer sleeps
3.Click the drop-down box which says Put the computer to sleep and select 'Never' for both battery and 'plugged in'
4.Click 'Save changes'
For Windows XP
1. Go to Start - Control Panel - Power Options
2. Under the Power Schemes Tab, set the Standby and/or Hibernate Options to 'Never'.
3. Click Apply/Ok and you're done.
Step 2
1. Right click on the desktop and click Properties.
2. Click Screen Saver + below you will find Power Click on that
3. You will see Settings for Home/Office Desk power scheme and in Turn off Monitor slect Never and click Apply.

yes right click on desktop select properties then click on screen saver then increase wait time problem will solved

PLEASE try another VGA cable
I say get a new vga cable and your troubles will be over,had the same problem with a dell lcd and a lg lcd new cable worked on both ! I know, how does a cable fail , who knows ? must of been a bad batch or something silly went on !
