Need flyback number of tcl tv model tcl-2027u , thanx for your help.

They often begin buzzing when the oil inside them gets old or evaporates from a cracked housing. It needs replacing however be very careful. Flyback have 50000 to 100000 volts in them even when the tv is off. There is a safety discharge procedure however if you are not familiar with replacing a flyback do not attempt it yourself. FLYBACK TRANSFORMERS CAN SEVERLY INJURE OR KILL YOU.

Aren't there any buttons on the TV itself?With the newer flat screens,they are usually somewhere along the edge,barely even noticeable because they are the same color as the TV.Although it would be strange,if you do not have any buttons on the TV please let me know.You also could use a universal remote.If you have one in the house already set to another TV,you could reprogram it for your flat screen.If that is an option because of no buttons,please let me know the make of your TV and I will send you a link to a couple of sites which I commonly use for TV codes.I rarely hear back from people so they must be well updated.If you have any questions or need more help,just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

check the software for card red to red yellow to yellow white to white cables jim make sure you got the right cables

usually when thiers arching its usually inside the flyback connection that causes the arching.I reccomend changing the flyback.

most universal remote would work like this... press butons tv and power on at same time till red light of remote lights still. then press 110. then presto, it works... i hope i help in a way.
