SOURCE: Refrigerator/Freezer not cooling
check freezer for frost build up and if fan blowing, check condenser make sure clean, and fan blowing, by compressor Make sure compressor is running and not shutting off on overload.. u said comp. hot.. should be warm... Not hot check vents in refrig. make sure no blockage, freezer control should be in the middle setting, you can try turning that to Warmer freezer allowing MORE air to refrigertor side.
SOURCE: refrigerator Compressor hot to touch & fridge/freezer not cooling
you need to do an amp draw with your meter, clamp the run wire on the compressor, you should get 2-5 amp reading, any higher means the compressor is going bad, also should be a locked rotor amp(LRA) reading on comp.-mike

HI,
if the compressor is running your ref. should be getting cold. Their is a defrost timer but when it is in defrost the compressor shuts off. I think you do have a leak.
thanks,
SOURCE: Water dispenser inside fridge and ice maker in freezer part in bottom both quit working.
There can be many reasons for no water supply. Line feeding the refrigerator is clogged or blocked. The water control valve that turns water to ice maker and dispenser is defective or the water filter located inside your refrigerator is in need of change. I will be here to help you go through the steps. Let me know when you are ready, Thanks, Sea Breeze
