Well back when i worked on honeywell controllers, you don't set differentials on thermostat you set the temperature and it has its own differentials like + or - 1 or 2 degrees to the set temperature they don't let you play with this setting, you set your temperature and it will maintain around that temperature you shouldn't need to change the differentials around that temperature as controller does what the heater needs to get to the temperature you require setting the differential closer to set temperature will make the unit cycle a lot more and coast you more and having it to far away can let the conditioned area start to get back out of comfortable range so they set these in factory and you shouldn't be able to change them as they are set to how it should work to wrok properly so i wouldn't change them even if you could!

My honeywell thermosta beats 3 times every 30 secondst what woul be the cause

likely the thermostat batteries need to be replaced. Honeywell typically uses 2 AA batteries. Try gently pulling the bottom of the thermostat away from the wall. Once you disengage it from the wall plate, turn it over and look for the battery access panel. Replace with batteries as specified on the cover panel. don't remove the old batteries until you have new ones to install.

My honeywell thermosta light is on even though hesting system is not

So the backlight is on at all times? In the settings menu there is an option for continuous backlight. Possibly you have this setting enabled.

Honeywell ct3200 thermostat won't turn on

DON'T BUY A NEW ONE JUST YET! IF THE BATTERIES DIED & THERMOSTA LOST POWER, IT MAY HAVE LOST IT'S MEMORY. IT MOST LIKELY WENT BACK TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS, & NEEDS TO BE RE-PROGRAMMED THROUGH THE INSTALLER SET-UP MENU. HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE THE PAPERWORK FOR THE THERMOSTAT STILL & CAN POSSIBLY DO THE SET-UP YOURSELF. IT SHOULD HAVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS IN THE INSTALLATION GUIDE (NOT THE OWNERS MANUAL)

When setting home temprature, do you want the cool to be 3 degees higher than the heat or vis verse?

Yes you would want to set the cooling at least 3 degrees higher than the heat. I personally keep mine at about 7 degrees difference. This will also help save with your power bill as it will keep the furnace and A/C unit from turning on as much.

Just installed a honeywell thermostat, but I can't get the clock to set or the temperature to change on it. How do I get the clock to set?

May be your thermosta setting under locked. By seeing your thermostat manual release lock and then you can satrt changing temp setting or clock setting.
