Kristinjacqu,

Your 722 receiver may be in single mode. This is the case usually when you have the same picture on both TVs and the remote won't function. On the receiver when it's in single mode, you will have a green light for TV 1 and an amber light for mode under the single box.

To put in dual mode, open the door on the right side of the receiver (the door will open to the right). Once open, in the upper left corner of that area you have a mode button (to the right of the power button). Press the mode button and the amber light will now illuminate under the 2 boxes. The blue light for TV 2 should also illuminate indicating the receiver is now in dual mode. This will separate the 2 TVs and you can now watch different channels on both TVS, plus the remotes will now work. I hope this helps.

I lost my remote, and have my tv hooked up to cable. Now I want to change the channel to 4 manually. I have disconnected the cable wire and the only two Channels it will show is 77 and 95

Your TV has detected that you disconnected the cable and has switched modes to antenna input. Despite the likelihood that you do not have a UHF antenna, your TV will pick up usually 1 to 5 stations in the UHF band. It would pay to pick up a cheap universal remote from the Dollar Store if there is one in your area and they still have the remotes available for a dollar.

I want to program my uhf receiver/ir emitter 106240

Oh boy. here is the problem. i have also a 106240 IR/UHF receiver/transmitter that changes the channels in the satellite box from another room so i can watch them in a second tv at channel 4. the original remote for the 106240 is broken and i bought another UHF remote #153638. So i need to program the new remote to work and link with the 106240 receiver, NOT the satellite box or the tv. Is there any expert here to enlighten us how can be done ? Very simple question :how to program the remote 153638 to link with the 106240. Thank you in advance

I get the dish network screen on # 2 tv and have lost the remote I can't get # 1 tv remote to change the channel. Is there any way to program the remote for tv 1 to change the channel on tv 2.

smithgrvtn,

It is possible to get your TV1 remote to work TV2, but it would have to be a model 6.0/6.3/6.4. If it is not one of those models you would need to have a remote ordered and sent out; then it would work. If your remote is one of the above models; I have included the steps to get that done.

Changing Remote from UHF-to-IR and IR-to-UHF:

1.) Verify correct model of remote and it is IR/UHF compatible. Remove tab from bottom of remote. For TV1: Green Tab with Green 1 in it. For TV2: Blue tab with 2 and black UHF in it.

2.) Push correct tab into remote, and go to your main TV.

3.) Access System Information either with a remote, Sys Info button on front of receiver, or powering it off and pressing the up arrow.

4.) Press and hold the gray SAT button until all buttons on top light up. Release and while the light is blinking enter a number between 1-15 and press Pound(#)

5.) Press Record 3 times and check to see if the address changed to the number you chose. Verify remote works.

If you have any other questions you can let me know here; or at [email protected] and I would be happy to see what else can be done!

I have a wf24t5 that i want to connect to a dish sat hd. how and what do i need to do to connect?

After confirming by viewing the operation manual for this unit, this TV is only capable of inputting a baseband video and standard audio. Unless the Satellite Receiver you have has those type of output jacks then this TV will not be able to reproduce picture or sound from the Receiver. It may be possible to connect through the antenna connection but again the Satellite would need a connector that would output on Channel 3 or 4. Most recent satellite receivers do not offer these ouputs. You indicate that the Receiver you have is High Def. The TV you have is not high def and would drastically down grade the quality of your picture and audio being delivered by the satellite receiver

I can't program my tv to regular antenna channels

You can program to regular (analog) antenna channels. To do so you must use the original remote which has a TV/DTV switch in the top right corner of the remote. Choose the appropriate mode for the type of channel you want to see or scan for. Here is a link to the owners manual and a picture of the remote swithc. The info on the signal switching is on pg.13.

The dishnetwork. Sighn just dances around the screen I push select and nothing happens

This sounds like this may be an issue with your tv 2, make sure your remote is in sat mode by pressingthe sat button. then select, if still nothing take your remote to the recvr and look on the back of the recvr to make sure the uhf ant. is standing straight up if not, straighten and try remote functions. if you stillg et no responce there could be other issues that are simple to fix depending on what kind of equipment you have. you can call 800-333-3474 for assistance or reply with recvr name or model #.

Recently my TV2 connection has become an issue: I get the Press Select to watch TV on the screen, but the remote will not work. (This is a UHF remote) I've even replaced the remote - and yes it's a Dish...

Check your UHF antanae on the back of the reciver to make sure it is standing straight up. you can also see if the tv 2 remote works at the tv 1 location to check for interference. if you have a dvr check to make sure shared view is disabled by pressing menu option 6 then option 2 and the disable. if this option is greyed out, put your reciever into single mode by pressing the mode button and try again. if none of this works, If your tv 2 remote still does not work at tv 1 ( ie: changes chan at tv 2 location at rec but not at tv 2. then readdress your remote by pressing menu, opt 6, opt 1 and opt 3, this will be system info. do this at tv 1 location, then with tv 2 rem in hand, press the sat key till all buttons light up at top, then release, enter any number 1-15 that is different from rem 1 add. then press pound. then press record 3 times to see if number changes for rem add. 2. if not then you have a defective rec. call 1-800-333-3474 for technical assistance.
