the OP upgraded to.
W7, then w8 and last to free w10 upgrade
then got sick of MS and loaded Ubuntu V17.
omg , shock !

You can always download Tune Up Utilities. It has a feature that allows you to install downloaded themes.

How do i download themes and where do i download them to windows vista.

First, to make custom themes work in Vista you have to patch vista.
You can read on how to do that on these sites:

1. How to patch vista for cusom themes
2. VistaGlazz 1.1 : Take transparency a step further

You can then get themes from these places:

1. VistaKnowledge.com
2. wvistathemes.com

To install a theme you have to unpack the file you downloaded to:
X:WindowsResourcesThemes
(X is the harddrive where you have vista installed)

After this you can doublecklick the .theme file to load the theme. :)

Downloading windows vista free themes

Try going to either the Vista site itself by typing windowsvista.com in your address bar and click go, or go to the Microsoft web page, and in their search box type in jus what you are looking for. Either of those should give you everything that is available for Windows Vista. Hope this helps.

Windows vista starter themes

Just load all your downloads into your computer,then right click on the desktop then press tab key written themes then click the theme you want to use.then it will change automatic.
