Hi there,

Due to the lack of detail provided, there are certain assumptions that must be made. These assumptions may or may not address the specifics of your problem as described. Please don't take anything I state in a derogatory way.

Standard operations.
These devices use very little fuel, with a single charge lasting about two hours.
After they are warmed up, the only visible evidence they are functioning is the dim red glow at the vents behind the tip.

Firing it up.
I'm assuming it has fuel in it.
When you try to fire it up, I'm assuming it is turned on and you can hear fuel being released.

The Super-pro models have a built-in igniter, otherwise using a lighter or a spark, ignite the gas at the vents behind the tip

A yellow flame can appear for a few moments until the unit heats up. It will quickly subside to a smoldering red glow.

It will take a few minutes for the tip to become hot enough to use.

That is about it,

Best regards

Mike

My unit has an issue with fuel. It will not release any fuel. It's full. When I pull down the slide, no fuel is released. What could be the issue? Blocked valve? How can I dismantle it?

Where can I purchase a flint for my Weller Portasol butane solderer?

I am looking at my Weller Portasol P-1k unit right now. They use standard flints. Go to almost ANY store you can think of and they sell lighter fluid and flints (usually sold in a pack of 5). About a buck or two.

Weller PSI-100K doesn't ignite. I have taken off the tips and checked. There is a spark and I can ignite it minus the tip. It only then stays ignited if I keep pressure on the ignition switch. Once that is...

I have the same soldering iron and have found for this problem, the replaceable tip has worn out.
All you need to do is buy a replaceable tip of your choice. The tips are a consumable part that wears out.

My Weller PSI100K Portasol soldering gun will not get hot at the tips, but it is producing heat at the vent holes?

It is supposed to produce heat there, it's the place where catalytic combustion takes place. If the tip doesn't heat up enough, it means that either the tip is not screwed properly into the housing, or there's not enough gas pressure. The catalytic mesh should be orange in color when heated properly.
Too low gas pressure may be a result of many things, like a malfunctioning valve (regulator and/or on/off),or clogging of the ceramic pressure reductor due to poor quality gas used, with high heavy fraction content.

What type of solder is the best to usefor the weller pro soldering tool cht100

It's not the solder you use for the soldering tool but the correct solder for the JOB you are doing with the tool.
Read the packages and pick the right mix/flux/thickness etc for the metal/connectors/etc you are soldering.
