The chattering is exactly what happens when a relay fails. If this is an older model tub, it is likely that you can just replace the ice cube relay. If it is a newer tub, the relay is most likely imprinted into the main cpu board, in which case you have to have somebody put a new relay on the board for you, or replace the control board. If this is an older tub and you need help sourcing parts, you can contact me @

Allheaters run off of a thermostat just like the heat to your house. It will shut off once heated to the selected temperature. Turn up the temperature, and monitor it for a couple days.

I changed the contactor and the thermostat, the contactor does not kick in right away, is it supposed to? is there something else i need to change? thanks

The Cspaxi series also have a pressure sensor which senses the pressure inside the heating tank. This sensor connects to the coil on the contactor, insufficiant pressure in the tank will cause a delay in the contactor activating. It sounds like your problem can be caused by insufficiant water flow from the pump, a clogged or pinched water line to the heater, or a faulty pressure sensor.

Gas Furnace trouble

the thermostat sends a signal to the circuit board. Not knowing anymore than I do about your heater or furnace I would suggest that that is a good place to start. Any limit or safety switch wouldnt coincidentally shut off the heater when it reached the set temp.

Raypak els1102 pool heater problem

Hard to saw from here, but I assume you have a book on this, find your hi limit switch, it will have a reset button on it. It will be behind a rubber plug on the housing but is hard to reset sometimes. If you pull the cover it is easy to reset and once you see it you will be able to do this with the cover on.
If not this some damage may have been done to the coil in the contactor, you should be able to see it pull in or at least hear it klunk when the heater kicks on.You probally won't be able to feel heat when it runs as it is designed to protect you from scalding when it runs but you should feel a slight difference in the temp of the water coming from the returns in the spa. good luck and let me know how it works out.

Jandy Lite2 Pool heater will not stay lit after firing.

Look at the sensor that tells unit that everything is lit. There should be some sort of sensor that tells the ECU that the ingnition area is a burn temp. It sounds like the unit can't tell that flame is lit. Hope this helps.

Sta Rite Sr333na Max E Therm Pool & Spa Heater gauge stuck?

Anytime the heater is reading the water temp to be above what it actually is, especially 126, the problem is the Thermistor, or Temp Sensor, for the heater. This is a very easy part to replace. The Thermistor is located on the manifold, on the left side, between the top two bolts.

Sorry this is a late response! Hope that it helps!
