SOURCE: My dishwasher keeps beeping at

I tilted mine backwards with it running and beeping and it stopped beeping shortly...It made a mess on the floor of course but I put it down and lights were still flashing but no more beeping. Thought I would try tipping it forward while it was running and the lights went off and the beeping never started again. Its working fine now??

SOURCE: LG Dishwasher Model LDF6810ST Dishwasher won't turn on

your model probably has a coating of a black tar-like substance on the inside of the inner door, which, by design, reduces noise. However, LG failed to notice the corrosive properties of the black tar-like layer. Your wiring harness is probably corroded by the soundproofing, and you will need a new inner door, wiring harness, and circuit board. LG extended my parts warranty because they know it's their fault, Call them at 1-800-243-0000. They will recommend an LG warranty repair certified technician in your area to come out and confirm this. They probably won't extend the warranty until after the tech checks out ur unit. However, labor will be your responsibility.

word_answers.gif I had the same problem and changed the two thermostats on the base and got it working. You can get them from partmasters.co.uk (thermostat protector) cost 17.99. They just screw in and are dead easy to fit

SOURCE: GE Nautilus dishwasher wont run

This is a typical GE problem which I have seen many times...When a DW sets for a while not being used...the motor often freezes up....Take the front (lower panel off....find the motor assembly...(with the DW unplugged!!...very important)reach in with you hand or a screw driver...preferably your hand...at the back of the motor...there should be a impeller blade...you should be able to reach in with a finger and pull it down..it may be resistant so find a way to hold it in place as you reach up to the next impller blade and pull down further...finally it will all of a sudden free up....after which you plug it back in and start it up...I am also including a step by step (no drain problem check list as you may run into an issue like this if it has not been operated for a while ....notice article # 5).

1. Air gap / Drain hoses
If there is an air gap (located in the sink, near the faucet), check to see if it is clogged. Unscrew the top cap and see if there is anything blocking inside. Note: If there is no air gap installed, the dishwasher might not drain properly.

If the drain hose is clogged, the dishwasher would not drain. If there is an air gap installed, it is very common that a hose going from the air gap into the garbage disposer is clogged. Remove and clean the hose. Make sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher.

Note: If you recently had a garbage disposer installed, it is common to overlook removing the drain plug.

2. Broken belt
Some dishwasher models use a belt to drive the pump. Replace the belt if found broken.

Note: Sometimes the belt would just come off the pump. Even though it might not be broken, it is recommended that you replace the belt, because it is probably too stretched out.

3. Pump
Some models have two impellers inside the pump - one, wash impeller, takes care of the wash cycles, the other, drain impeller, drains the water out. If the drain impeller is broken (broken blades, shaft), the dishwasher would not drain. Replace any broken pump components.

4. Drain solenoid
Some models (for example most GE dishwashers) use a drain solenoid to drain water out. Sometimes the solenoid gets stuck, preventing the water from draining out. Try to free up the solenoid. If unsuccessful, you might have to replace the pump assembly.

5. Motor
If the motor is stuck, it is sometimes possible to free it up by manually spinning the motor.

Replace the motor if defective.

6. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

I hope this helps...it is always useful to include the Model #...more specific instructions can then be provided

Good Luck and good day.....please rate my effort...the Fang

Baumatic b15 drain pump will not stop.

Sounds like a dicky or jammed water level sensor. Get a qualified and licensed technician to check it out. The sensor and labour to replace it should only be around AU$50 or AU$60 dollars (excluding callout or pickup / delivery fees).

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check for the following if your dishwasher is not working--

1. Fuse (blown or tripped).
2. 120 VAC supply wiring connection faulty. Repair or replace wire fasteners at dishwasher junction box.
3. Electronic control board faulty.
4. Motor (inoperative, check resistances).
5. Door switch (open contacts).
6. Door latch not making contact with door switch.
7. Touch pad circuit defective.
8. No indicator lamps illuminate when START or OPTIONS is depressed.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Candy cs455 m dishwasher tripping out power

if what you mean is that it trips the circut or fuse in your home then the circut that you have it pluged into is not sufficent to hold for the elctrical load that the dishwasher needs. you can do one of two things. change the circut that the dishwasher is on ( plug it into a circut that has nothing else on it or verfiy that the circut can handle a higher amperage .. if thats the case change the fuse / circut breaker to a higher amperage.

Prolonged washer cycle time

Hi! I'm not familiar with this model, but it sounds to me like there is not a problem! If you set the delay time to 0H, switch off the unit at the main switch, then switch back on. If there is still a 2H displayed, it means that the PROGRAM that you have selected will take 2hours! This is fairly common for the Bosch units on the 50 - 65degC cycles...some models have a "reduced washing time" button - it looks similar to the "delay" symbol, but once pressed, it reduces the washing time by almost half (cuts on rinse cycles) If your model does not have a reduced time button, select a shorter cycle (35/40/50eco), and see if the time is less. Remember that the latest dishwashers are engineered to be more energy efficient and water wise, so they had to lengthen the wash cycles in order to get good wash results! Hope this helps! C.

Dishwasher beeping

here is the link to the manual if you need it; http://www.baumatic.co.uk/products/discontinued-models/dishwashers/freestandingdishwashers/BFD60SS I couldn't find anything that suggests a solution in the book. check this thread below for the reset procedure for another model - it may be worth trying; http://www.fixya.com/support/t137657-need_reset_dishwasher_but_dont_know other than that it sounds like the control circuit board has problems. unplug your machine and wait half an hour. undo the control housing by a few screws on the top inside of the door and maybe plastic clips moulded in the edge of the housing. look if any components on the board are obviously burnt or water damaged - sometimes they fail without visual signs but you might spot something. If you fancy replacing the board yourself, just make sure you take a picture of how it was wired up, and post me back the serial number and manufacturer on the board and i will try and source one for you - these boards on their own are rarely that expensive and are often in a lot of other manufacturers models so are usually easy to find. Hope this helps :)
