SOURCE: battery charger

Take your charger out on a boat and dump it into the sea. Then go to the store and buy a new one.

SOURCE: Charger Repair for Ryobi drill 14.4 volt

It has been my experience that when one component of a board goes bad that something else is wrong and even replacing that part still will not work. But you can try contacting Ryobi direct at their website and see if their tech service can get that for you. They are very vague when it comes to some of their products so good luck. Also as a thought if you have a tool repair facility in your area you might contact them and see if they have a junk charger laying around that you can scavenge for parts.

SOURCE: Bought a cordless drill; ac charger adapter is missing

YES, if you try and use the other voltage it might "cook" the battery. Give me the brand and model and I will try and find one online for you or if you give me your location area I might find one locally.

the charger has three out points the one on the left at the side combined with the point at the back should be putting out 14 volts if not the charger is dead as for the battery the pack needs to be pulled apart and a test done on them that needs a tech with the proper equipment

My Makita battery charger does not work it is a model DC1414 purchased about 5 years ago

The battery could be bad after 5 years. Check the contacts on the charger with it plugged up using a volt meter to see if it's putting out.

The fuse is blown in the charger. I want to replace it. 4A 125V

Usually when the fuse blows in the charger there is some other malfunction there in the board. The charger for your tool is listed as obsolete to contact the service center, and in doing so ask them for the proper fuse, or replacement charger.

I have a mikita 12 volt and when I charge it it wont hold charge.

do you have a volt meter toi check the charger voltage? if so then read the voltage out of the charger, it should be 1 or 2 volts higher than the listing 12v would be 13 or 14 volts. if it's working you probally do have a bad battery. if the charger is out then you have a bad charger.
