Hold music is attached to a port labeled MOH on a Panasonic TDA system cabinet. Check out your back room or telephone or electrical closet where all the wires go and see if there isn't a seperate box for the MOH system. Once you know what it is, you can find out how to change the music.
Well, it depends. You can have 2 BGM sources on a TDA-100 or higher system. The system in the back room will have 2 MOH jacks and you can select the source from a phone. Since this is also the Music that the callers hear, there may be copywrite issues on playing commercial radio on hold. Most places actually use MOH 1 for a Promotion on hold, and MOH 2 for employee's BGM.
You're stuck with what you have unless you find the box that's playing it and change the recording. Your system cabinet (a black and blue TDA cabinet) has a music device plugged into the MOH port. Just change the file.
Here's a site where you can download the quick reference guide. Hope this is what you are looking for. I'm not sure what you mean by TDA and PTPM. If this isn't what you need, please clarify. Thanks.
For Panasonic system (especially for KX-T7633), you have to make changes from extension 101. 1. leave handset in the cradle then press "program". 2. Dial *# then "SP-PHONE" button until you see something like time set something something 3. manually input correct date then time then press "auto dial/store" button. 4. pick up the handset then hang up to save.
From the system administrator's phone, enter programming and dial 000 and follow the prompts using the FWD and CONF button to move the cursor back and forth.
I'm not sure what you currently have for music on hold but regardless this is a feature of the phone system, not the phone. You may have a built in tune or tone, or you could have an external music source connected to the phone system.
First you need to know which type of Panasonic phone system you have and where it is located. The system part number should start with "KX-T" and unfortunately, knowing the part number of your phone does not help.
